The Dahle 20834EC high security shredder is helping protect our National Security, military and government agencies with higher a level of security than our standard office paper shredders. With this in mind, the U.S. Department of Defense has increased the requirements for the destruction of Top Secret COMSEC documents. NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 is the new standard for maximum particle area and maximum particle dimensions as well as setting a tough standard for machine durability. The Dahle 20834EC is capable of shredding an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper into 15,500 little particles of paper.
